We have been told this certified audit will be $2K to $4K That amount of money will drastically take away from the medical funding we rely on for our pets care. If you currently have regular license plates and would like to change to "I am Pet Friendly" plates, you would pay an initial fee of $118, instead of the $78 currently charged for plates. From the additional $40, $25 will go the Spay/Neuter Fund and $15 will go to the Secretary of State special plate fund. Renewals each year thereafter would cost $105, with $25 going to the Spay/Neuter Fund and $2 to the special plate fund.
